You may recall a post that I did awhile back on the debut of Ulyana Sergeenko’s Fall-Winter 2011 collection (if not, see it here). Well, her Spring 2012 collection is just as blog-worthy as her last. I love the hourglass silhouettes emphasized by the accentuating of the waist throughout her entire collection. It’s so incredibly retro chic!!
I caught wind of Mary Katrantzou’s Fall 2012 collection (via HonestlyWTF) and I was completely blown away by the prints!!!! The way she constructed the prints adding knit details, flowy chiffon, and billowing peplums is fashion meets architectural genius!
Marc Jacobs’ 19th century heritage inspired looks were the talk of Paris fashion week at Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 show. Complete with a porter for each model to carry their luggage with them down the runway. Marc started the show with a steam engine pulling onto the runway! Now I call that an entrance! I just love the retro looks, the bright colors and patterns remind me of 60’s mod looks.
Instead of extravagant makeup, Karl Lagerfeld chose to accentuate the eyebrows by bedazzling them with crystals in the Chanel Fall 2012 show. Would you rock this look?
Elie Saab’s Spring/Summer 2012 gowns are incredible!!!
Which designer’s collection is your favorite?
