With midterms behind us and the fall semester halfway over, here’s a look back at the last two weeks of the most stylish students at Orange Coast College.
Earlier this month Dynamite Editorials took some amazing Renaissance costumes provided by Majestic Velvets to Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim for an amazing photo shoot in the enchanted oak forest. I love all of Majestic Velvets intricate costumes including these lovely brocade dresses. They really stand out and are well made. If you are looking for a Halloween costume or something to wear to the Renaissance Fair that will look stunning and stand the test of time then Majestic Velvets is the place to go. Be sure you check out their website: http://majesticvelvets.com/
As always, I am happy to be hosting a Photo of the Day Contest for those photographers that participated in this shoot!
Halloween Style Off
5 Aspiring Fashion Stylists were given a challenge to come up with a Halloween Costume using only items from their wardrobe, no pre-made or store bought costumes were allowed. They attended a photo shoot produced by Dynamite Editorials on Oct. 7th so their stylish costumes could be displayed to the world to give you a chance to vote on your favorite. The winner will be featured in the next issue of The Stylist Handbook Magazine Volume 4 due out in March 2013! I hope you are inspired by these lovely contestants:
Anyone who knows me has heard of my craving for exotic travel. That’s why I love these amazing editorials where beautiful women get do travel the world (and universe) to take stunning photos. Check out what I’ve found…
These images are so full of color, amazing landscapes and natives wearing traditional clothing. While in a way Han seems out of place, I think that is what really makes this editorial pop.
